Qigong is an ancient set of exercises developed by the Shaolin monks in China.
The word Qi is the same as Chi or Prana, which means life energy. In traditional Chinese medicine, it is believed, that our body has meridians with certain points where energy flows. When these meridian centers are blocked, energy does not flow naturally, leading to discomfort and disease.
The word Gong is Chinese for exercise.
Thus Qigong is moving the body in slow movements while breathing.

Master Lady L. Reed was born in Manila, Philippines in 1974. She started in martial arts in 1991.
She is the co-founder and owner of Reed’s Active Martial Arts System in California, USA, that includes the health and wellness aspect of the martial arts styles as a whole through practicing the styles of Tang Soo Do, Taekwondo, Jeet Kune Do, Wei Kuen Do, Wing Chun, Escrima, Tai Chi Chuan, Shibashi Qigong, Baduanjin, and Yoga.
She was a martial arts hall of fame inductee 2016-2020, USA national champion martial arts master and actress.
Being certified in Shiatsu, Acupressure & Reflexology in 1993, she become a certified massage therapist in Los Angeles in 2015. Her modalities are Swedish massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Pregnancy & Infant Massage, Geriatric Massage, Trigger Point and Reiki Massage. She is a Reiki Master von Bryce Winston.
